Abigail Eberhart

Mrs. Naples Int’l 2026

Abigail Eberhart is a communications leader and public servant currently serving as the Public Information Officer and Head of Special Events & Marketing for the Town of Fort Myers Beach. As the official spokesperson for a community rebuilding after Hurricane Ian, she leads crisis communications, coordinates with FEMA and local agencies, and ensures residents remain informed and supported during critical moments. A graduate of Georgetown University with a degree in International Affairs, Abigail is completing her Master’s in Public Relations & Corporate Communications with a 3.9 GPA and First Honors, further strengthening her expertise at the intersection of policy, communications, and leadership.

Her commitment to service extends far beyond her role, with global humanitarian work spanning Uganda and Nepal, where she supported public health initiatives and rural development programs. She has also led international healthcare grant efforts across Sub-Saharan Africa and continues to serve locally as a swim instructor and adaptive program coordinator for individuals with disabilities. Known for her ability to lead with both precision and compassion, Abigail brings a steady, trusted presence to every environment she enters. As Mrs. Florida International, she is dedicated to using her voice to serve, advocate, and lead with purpose—ensuring every community she touches feels supported, informed, and empowered.

1. What is your favorite spot or "happy place" in the city you're representing and why?

The Naples YMCA. I teach special needs water safety there, and it brings together people from every background through fitness and community. There is no other place in Naples quite like it.

2. If you could give one piece of advice to your younger self, what would it be?

Stop over-studying and make time to enjoy your life. Also, open a Roth IRA — the sooner the better.

3. What is a small habit or ritual that brings you joy each day?

Every morning I run our property with my two rescue dogs, Lucy and Jack, while the sun comes up. Coffee in hand, no phone, just fresh air and a good start to the day.

4. If you could spend one day with any inspiring woman—past or present—who would it be and what would you ask her?

Amelia Earhart. She flew when the world said women shouldn’t, and she did it without apology. I would ask her what she said to herself before every flight.

5. What is a moment in your life that made you feel truly confident or empowered?

My first live television broadcast. Microphone on, camera rolling, and I delivered. All the preparation clicked into place and I knew exactly what I was there to do.

6. What’s the most Florida thing you’ve ever done?

After Hurricane Ian, I helped survivors clear debris and recover their homes. Strangers showed up with tools, supplies, and no hesitation. That is Florida — resilient, generous, and ready to rebuild.
